Akhil has revealed in a recent interview son karthikeya are the best buddies from their childhood. Akhil believes that kartikeya could be a success full director like his father in future, he has already shot films and now he is the who is directing the trailer of his debut film Akhil.

Karthikeya owns a studio named Showing Business that makes interesting teasers and promo videos for Telugu films. It was Karthikeya who did those beautiful teasers of Akkineni family's emotional drama, Manam, India's biggest motion picture Baahubali, Anushka's Size zero.
